There’s been a lot of discussion about Chinese EV safety, and now even Dongfeng’s website is getting flagged as unsafe not exactly confidence-inspiring. Some who looked into the brand noticed that Google’s top suggested question and answer about Dongfeng was oddly worded, making it seem even more questionable.
It’s no secret that Dongfeng is state-owned, and while some Chinese automakers are making impressive EVs, others still have a long way to go in terms of global trust. When it comes to safety, reliability, and transparency, does Dongfeng stand a chance outside of China’s domestic market, or will concerns about quality and cybersecurity keep buyers away?
